Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SoldComps (“we”) at soldcomps.io handles personal information. We collect as little as we can and never sell it.

What we collect

• Email address, when you get an API key or download a full results list. Used to identify your key, send service and billing messages, and for support.
• API keys, stored only as a one-way hash. We can't see your key after it's shown to you.
• Usage: searches made with your key, counts, timing and errors, used for quotas, billing, abuse prevention and debugging.
• Network data: your IP address is used to apply free-tier limits and stop abuse; we store it only as a keyed, irreversible hash.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your billing email, plan and payment status, never your full card number.
• Analytics: privacy-friendly, cookie-less page analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to see which pages are used.

Cookies

We use a short-lived cookie to show your new API key once after signup, and a login cookie for our own admin area. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Who processes data for us

• Vercel (hosting, storage, analytics, security)
• Stripe (payments and billing)
• Our upstream data provider, which receives your search terms but not your identity

Retention

We keep account records while your key is active and as long as needed for billing, tax and legal obligations. Request logs are kept for a short period (days to weeks). You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your choices

Email hello@soldcomps.io to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop non-essential emails. If you are in a region with additional privacy rights (such as the EU, UK or California), you can exercise them the same way.
